The Muskoka Multicultural Association came into existence in early 2010 to support Newcomers to Canada in our region.

Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment by creating opportunities for newcomers to socialize with each other and to support integration into our community.    As well, we work with businesses, organizations and groups to identify employment barriers for Newcomers and create opportunities that would support their hiring in our region.

Next Upcoming Events AND INFORMATION

Thanks to all the members who participated in our annual Chinese New Year’s Celebration 2012.  The event was truly a success with all 120 tickets being sold.  We are looking forward to next year’s event.

Our next event is a East Indian Cooking class lead by Indera Burtoo on February 11th.  The cost is $10.00 and participation is limited.   If you would like to share your favourite ethnic recipes with others, please call and we can arrange future classes.
