Over 30 people rang in Muskoka’s first Chinese New Year on February 5th, 2011 and celebrated the beginning of Year of the Rabbit.

In the Chinese Tradition we celebrated good fortune, health and happiness.

We were grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Norman Bethune House where the staff warmly welcomed us into their library, gave us a tour of the house and shared a short documentary on the wonderful work of Dr. Bethune.  The evening consisted of a 10 dish Chinese New Years Buffet provided by the New Haven Restaurant.   We were able to socialize with old and new friends.
